One thing I have been noticing in Saigon - the increasing number of Vietnam War helmets being worn by motorbike riders in the city.
Nick tells me to relax - he’s sure it’s just a fashion fad. He finds it kinda cool.
He’s deluded, as are most of you two legs
Nick and I like to go for early morning coffee and watch the traffic as the city comes to life at around 6 AM. People going to work, taking their kids to school, going for morning coffee - normal morning day stuff.
But the increasing number of war helmets is starting to freak me out. But, let’s face it, it doesn’t take much to freak out felines. If anything changes it tends to unnerve us.
There’s a lady in our building with whom I have made friends. But one day she wearing a headscarf - I was so freaked out all my fur stood on end and I climbed Nick’s leg, up his face - leaving some claw marks, the scars of which you can see to this day and down his back leaving a trail of scars - some of which required many stitches.
So this is just a warning to all you feline owners and aficionados - be careful if you happen to introduce something new to your feline. Hell, a new food bowl freaks out some of my feline acquaintances.

Freak outs, claws out...it's a cat thing.
