AR-15 style weapon finally recognized as 'America's National Gun' - a fitting tribute to American mass murderers and their love of death and mayhem
"I wouldn't kill with anything else." - Kyle Rittenhouse
The AR-15 style rifle is finally getting some recognition.
And the timing could not be better, a fitting tribute to Kyle Rittenhouse’s best and only friend, which was destroyed a year ago on February 25, 2022.
Reps. Barry Moore (Ala.), Andrew S. Clyde (Ga.), Lauren Boebert (Colo.) and, of course, George Santos (N.Y.) introduced HR 1095 have come forward “to declare an AR-15 style rifle chambered in a .223 Remington round or a 5.56x45mm NATO round to be the National Gun of the United States.
Lauren Boebert has also expressed interest in making February “AR-15 History Month”.
It was brought to Ms. Boebert’s attention that February is currently Black History Month to which she replied, “Oh I think my GED History class covered that when I was out sick. Far too much ‘shine that week. There was an all-week Gun Lovers event and KKK Rally. I don’t remember much of that week, or the week after.”
When he was told of HR 1095, Rittenhouse, still mourning the loss of his weapon, burst into tears and sobbed, “It’s about time. I miss her so much. She deserves this honor.”
