At least they aren't falling out of hotel windows - yet
India's PM Modi slowly but surely disposing of his enemies
At least they aren't falling out of windows. Yet.
India’s opposition members, peacefully going about their jobs, are finding PM Modi of India to be a bit of a sadistic asshat.
His abuse of power is unfolding in full view of the public - unlike Russian leader and warmonger Vladimir Putin, who prefers to have his homicides described as tragic accidents. But designed to terrify potential and suspected enemies, and Russian citizens in general.
Modi is slowly but surely disposing of his political enemies by sending them to prison for two years, the upper limit. Once they have done their time, they cannot serve in government for a period of six years, after which we hope that Modi has shuffled off this mortal coil.
This is what is happening to opposition member Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul is a Gandhi dammit - what else can he do?
Gandhi’s are sacrosanct in India and are not qualified to do anything but serve in the government of India.
Modi, unlike his Russian counterpart Vlad Putin who prefers a permanent solution to problems - hotel windows, poison darts and the like, Modi is content to deprive enemies of a livelihood, and put them in prison for two years thus ensuring they cannot come back to public service. Two years being the limit. Should you be imprisoned for fewer than two years you will welcomed back with open arms.
Cruel - makes Putin seem to be a kind sadist.
The recent charges Modi has brought against Rahul Gandhi results in a two year prison sentence and his disqualification from parliament for a period of six years.
Tough to find a job after being sent to prison for two years - perhaps the Putin Window Treatment would’ve been more humane.
I see a future for Rahul where the words, “Would you like fries with your Maharaja Mac” play a big part of his work life.
Shame on you Modi - you really have to learn to fight fair.
