Back to normal - mostly
I want my drapes back
Well, it cost Nick a small fortune to get a work crew to repair all the damage done by my little whoopsie when I let all that wildlife into our apartment.
They even got rid of the stench.
It cost Nick a fortune and he’s a little touchy these past couple days. He also paid to get Fluffy’s apartment back in order.
We’re really lucky that we didn’t get evicted - I doubt we would be able to find another home unless the ferals down the street took us in.
And I doubt that would happen. I might be able to live with them but they would regard Nick as food.
He wouldn’t last a night.
Anyway - he had the drapes changed to vertical plastic - impossible to climb. Dammit.
They also cleaned under the stove and fridge. I got all my toys back. I spent most of last night putting them back under the appliances, At least Nick won’t be injuring his feet as he steps on them. I hated that screeching of his when that happened.
Our house plants were replaced with plastic foliage with no dirt.
Holy shit - I found all my toys - I’ll be spending the next few days playing with them until they disappear under the appliances again.
As far as Nick’s beloved house plants - replaced with plastic replicas.
Our place - which used to be so cat-friendly - is now extremely boring.
I’m also being schooled on using a human toilet - a little tricky. I’d like to see Nick using a litter box and see how he fares.
Now there is absolutely nothing to do but sleep - but I’m okay with that.
Sleeping is one of my strengths.
