BoJo survives non-confidence vote
Declares statutory holiday and throws a drinks party at No. 10 Downing
British PM Boris Johnson has scheduled an all-day drinks party at No. 10 Downing after narrowly surviving a non-confidence vote on his leadership on Monday.
The PM expressed his relief to the press gaggle, “Yeah, I was really worried for a minute there but once it was realized that a party was always raging in No. 10, they understood the folly of the motion.
“So now that we have a precedent I can see where the residence will become a full-time party place. A clubhouse of sorts. Cheers mate!”
