Canada readies BOTH fighter jets for potential war with India
"These planes and pilots haven't flown in years."
The recent assassination of a Sikh separatist outside a temple in British Columbia has galvanized the Canadian Air Force in anticipation of an all-out war with India.
“We’re readying both of our fighter jets for war with India,” a high ranking official in the Canadian Air Force told me the other day.
“They need a lot of work to get them war-ready. Neither has been flown since 2022 and they have never seen war.
“The other problem we’re having right now is finding someone to pilot them. The majority of the pilots familiar with the planes are ex-Snowbird pilots who have retired and are quite unwilling to fly them.
“The only combat pilots who are willing to fight are retired WWII pilots who are extremely senile I’m told.
“These planes are old and have been grounded for safety reasons. I doubt we can find anyone of clear mind willing to fly either of them.”
Both Air Canada and Westjet have offered retired 747s for use in the anticipated conflict.
