CNN's challenge - finding and inventing bad news about Biden admin
CNN news - pick out something trivial and blow it up - even better if it has to do with POTUS or VPOTUS
I’m just a cat, and don’t really know all the ways of the human world, but WTF is wrong with your media?
I’m not speaking of right-wing media - you expect them to fabricate shit. I think most of those ‘news’ sites pay their ‘talent’ by the word. A lot of their talent pool is taken from high school English classes. They’ll always have something to say about nothing.
But let’s take a look at the MSM.
Four years of reporting on Spanky and his gang has clearly spoiled them. There was always an atrocity, tragedy or felony on which to report. No fabrication needed. If anything, they were in the habit of downplaying the savagery with which Spanky boy operated.
Examples from early on in his “reign”.
- Fire a government official on his last day to keep him from his pension. Got a few hundred words - that’s it - let the story die.
- Fire another official while he was working out of town. He found out on a breaking news segment. And then, to top it off, threaten to make him find his own way home.
MSM often softened the language and had a habit of downplaying the severity of anything Spanky did.
Then along comes President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris. Two of the most likable, nay - lovable, hardworking leaders since the Obamas occupied the White House.
So now CNN and their ilk are totally fucked for headlines that will grab attention and sell ads.
I read something from CNN this weekend which was the news equivalent of “Biden’s third cousin on his mother’s side convicted of littering.”
Other big news -
“Biden’s dog poops on the sidewalk.”
“Biden’s dog nips at Secret Service.” My first question was why? What was the agent doing? Dogs don’t just randomly bite someone.
Seriously - why can’t they report on the good news with as much gusto?
Under Biden more jobs have been created in his first eight months than President Spanky created in four years. Spanky will be remembered for killing 600,000 Americans.
Just a note and a tip of the hat - I found the job news this morning in Press Run - a substack column written by Eric Boehlert. I highly recommend it.
I haven’t seen much of that type of news on CNN or MSNBC lately.
Anyway I gotta jet - watch the closing arguments in the murder trial of an itsy-bitsy “Boy Scout” Nazi multiple murderer.
See you tomorrow - I am too pissed off to write anymore.
