Geek Girl - a must watch according to Nick

Each and every freaking day

Nick has banned any and all political news (Trump) from our house.

If I want to get news I have to go over to my neighbor Fluffy’s house.

Nick subscribes to every legitimate news source there is - written, TV and radio. He used to spend most of his day checking the news - but too much Trump and his circus have finally gotten to him.

It got to the point where he was popping benzos every hour or so. Sometimes more when he’d forgotten that he had just had two Xanax.

I found it funny for a while but it got to me when he started snacking on MY cat food.

I told him I felt he had a bit of a problem and changed the channel to something called “Geek Girl”.

He became immediately addicted to the show, and I’ll admit so am I.

Delightful tale - no nudity, sex, profanity - it was such a relief.

Nick became addicted immediately. It now runs 24/7 on our TV.

I have cancelled all of our news input and now when Nick grabs for a benzo for whatever reason - I turn on Geek Girl.

It seems to act like a soother that you give to babies. Our house is finally quiet and tranquil and I can get back to doing what I do best - napping and eating - occasionally playing with Nick’s socks and cigarettes.

He doesn’t really care about the socks but he freaks should he find me puffing on one of his Marlboros.
