Halloween - a cat's version of Christmas
The time of year we celebrate the birth of Bastet - a cat version of Jesus Christ
Well it’s that time of the year again. The cats’ version of two legged Christmas.
Catnip, salmon (any type of fish will do - but traditionally we have salmon, and of course, the annual climbing of the living room draperies. Not as much fun as climbing a Christmas tree but still a lot of human’s screaming at us.
It’s funny to watch them as they try to remove us from the drapes.
Pretty futile exercise. Nick has finally learned just to leave me until I’m damn good and ready to come down. He tried to take me down once - 17 stitches later he resolved to just let me do what I want.
At Christmas time - Christmas trees - we typically topple them over and walk away contentedly, with tinsel and icicles trailing from our cute little butts.
Human types dread this these times of the year.
Anyway - happy Halloween everyone!

Winter is coming and they desperately need the money
I recognize that tinsel photo Tom. As a nurse with many cats it has always worried me. Do I pull it or let nature take its course. I have done both and everything turned out okay. But I’m not a cat so I decided not to put tinsel on the tree anymore. Or even have a tree for that matter. The ornaments were problematic too. I just buy cheap curtains.
I love your admiration for cats! 🐱 🐈 🐈⬛
