Mike Johnson on mass shooting
"He should have 'prayed' not 'preyed'. I blame the gosh darn English language. It can be so confusing for some of us."
I asked Mike Johnson, the previously unknown congressman and new speaker of the GQP House for a comment on the latest mass slaughter of American citizens at the hands of a mass murderer with an automatic weapon of war…
“Well, you know cat. This would not have happened if that assassin had prayed that morning. I’m almost positive he hadn’t prayed for many days and many nights.
“And this is the result. Without a prayer echoing in his heart, he was easy prey for Satan. I think he confused the word ‘pray’ with the word ‘prey’, as do most of us good Republicans.
“Now, I’ve been told that ‘good Republicans’ is an oxymoron, but I have no idea what oxymoron means so I will continue to use it. I think it has something to do with Mormons but I’m not sure. But I know Mormons and they pray.
“My wife has been on her knees for almost a month now praying that I miraculously become the third most powerful man in this great country of ours. It was a gull darn miracle I tell you. You can get anything you want thru prayer.
“Myself, I’ve been praying for a Tesla, what with the price of gas these days because of the Democrats.”
