Finally, some news I can really get into.
A cat. A new cat. A new cat in the White House. To go with a new puppy.
Seriously - what took so long? A house is not a home unless there is a feline in residence.
What a great Christmas for the White House. New life. A puppy and a cat. It doesn’t get better than that.
The new puppy will have a playmate. I look forward to some television coverage. I also look forward to hearing what the cat’s name will be.
A cat changes everything; the whole aura of the White House will change. The spirits will smile on all who reside therein. And it’ll be rodent free.
A big change from the former resident - TFG.
This will be our last column this year. Nick and I are going to spend some time in SE Asia - Nick is not used to winter weather and the short, short days. I think he suffers from depression of some sort.
Hopefully we won’t be under quarantine in Bangkok - they changed the rules last night as we were just finishing up the paperwork for a quarantine free entry. So, we’ll see what happens. Still better than being in the cold. After Thailand, we’re off to Cambodia and after that who knows…
Best wishes to all our readers, may your festivities be full of joy, happiness, and love.
Be safe,
Tom and Nick
