Sinema - I don't care about people - I just needed a job - no one would hire me
Somewhere on the Potomac, a $700,000 ‘boat’ is moored. A DINO boards and starts talking…
“Joe! You know Joe, since I started micro-dosing a little while back, I really don’t give a fiddler’s fuck about much of anything except my image. My image and my glasses. My image, my glasses and my clothes. And my image. Did I mention my image? Don’t give a fiddler’s fuck. What is a fiddler’s fuck anyway? By the way, did I tell you than I’m micro-dosing. Juh Juh Juh… Joe. So much fun to say. You try it. I have four hundred pair of glasses, did you know? Hey, did I tell you I was micro-dosing?”
“Uh yeah Krysten, Kyrsten, you did. Man you have a fucked up name. You sure those doses are micro? Maybe a little more than micro? Maybe maxi? You sure it’s not amphetamines you’re taking? You’re doing more talking today than you’ve done all year. Might explain your behavior as well.”
Manchin reaches for one of his many lumps of ‘comfort coal’ lying around the boat, and rubs it on his cheek.
“What do you mean? My behavior? What’s wrong with my behavior?”
Sinema gabs her purse, pulls out a fresh pair of glasses, and exchanges them for the pair she is wearing.
Manchin shakes his head.
“Like that - right there. Why change glasses mid sentence?”
“Glasses are expensive. Gotta get some use out of them. Reminds me - I have to change my dress. Where’s your washroom? Don’t follow me in there. Had enough of that this week. People followed me into the ladies room when I was taking a leak. Asking me all sorts of government questions. What else? What other behavior do you find objectionable?”
“Well, I heard you don’t even bother to take or return calls from POTUS. Even I take his calls and I’m just as greedy and corrupt as you. And hated just as much. And I’m an asshole. You want a lump of comfort coal to stroke. Very calming. ”
Sinema shakes her head ‘no’.
“Oh - it’s always about work with POTUS. I didn’t take this gig to do work. I’m here to be an asshole and I’m just here to do favors for the wealthy - like you. And I don’t understand what he’s talking about anyway. Truthfully, I don’t really understand the whole ‘Senator’ thing. Couldn’t find a job. Nobody would hire me. I just wanted the money. And I wanted people to look at me. So I ran for office. Got famous with that whole Al Franken thing.”
She rises and goes to the washroom to change, coming back in a Prada original.
“Like my dress? Prada. I only wear clothes from haut couture women’s designers. I have dozens. I can go two months without repeating a pair of glasses or a dress.”
