Thanks to Trump and the GQP I've learned a whole lexicon of profanity

Words I've never heard before

Nick is a genius when it comes to inventing words.

Profanity mostly.

Being a cat whose behavior is not exactly stellar, I have had my fair share of profanity directed at me, my behavior and the world in general.

But this election cycle has been a real eye opener. I’m not even sure that some of these profanities qualify as words in any language.

As a consequence I contacted one of my techie feline friends and asked if he could cut off our news, before Nick has a full blown ‘nervy b’.

He sucks back Valium and Xanax all day everyday and that concerns me. If he ends up in a psych ward who is going to feed and care for ME??

My techie friend had a look at our TV and Nick’s electronic devices and told me to give him an hour and he would have it done.

True to his word - any type of news being broadcast is now ‘off the air’ in our house. The profanity, anger and cursing at the TV and news casts on his computer have stopped.

Within days I noticed a different Nick - he had reverted to the kind hearted, soft spoken two-legged creature that I first fell in love with, sans benzos.

I deal with the newspapers by defecating and urinating on them as soon as they are delivered. Unreadable now in our house.

Our radio had an ‘accident’ and fell off the kitchen counter.

Peace now reigns in our house and Nick is off the benzos. He has become the loving friend I first met at the animal shelter.

Life can be good - stop following the news and watch a “Flintstones” cartoon, or something of that ilk.
