USA disqualified from Nobel Peace Prize consideration for foreseeable future
"Enough is enough."
Demanding that living American peace price recipients return their medals, the Nobel Peace Prize committee announced that the recent spate of mass shootings in America effectively disqualifies the country from any future awards.
Peter Drozdowsky, chairman of the Peace Prize committee explained, “We’d look like a bunch of pompous hypocritical assholes if we allowed the USA to remain in the running for future awards. Other Nobel committees are said to be considering similar sanctions.
“I don’t see our action having any effect on anything, but we were getting bored and thought this disqualification would give us something to do. I expect that Ukraine President Zekenskyy has a lock on the 2022 award.”
