EDMONTON - In a nod to the severity of the Omicron virus, new Alberta COVID rules will require nightly bar room brawls to move outside to the streets. No more than 10 patrons at a table will be permitted and last call will be at 1130 PM, although drinking on streets and parking lots can go on as long as needed. Dancing and mingling in the aisles will be prohibited.
After making the announcement Premier Jason Kennedy said, “This should show the rest of the country that Alberta is taking this pandemic very seriously."
