There are dogs wandering around my neighborhood here in Bangalore and it breaks my heart. There's one big black and white guy that looks like he had been owned at one time. Coat is all shaggy and in disarray - I'm wondering if his owners died during COVID leaving him alone. Twice daily he comes down our street checking out the garbage. Just guts me. I checked and there are numerous shelters here. Will be calling them today - probably take today off from writing today's piece - or I'll write it in the middle of the night. Been doing that a lot lately.
Thank you for helping. I do everything I can do to help homeless or injured animals. I am currently concerned with a turkey vulture with a broken wing in my neighborhood.
